The individual communication procedure set up by the Third Optional Protocol (see, OP CRC complaint procedure) entered into force in 2014.
It is worth noting that Morocco has signed the Optional Protocol on a communication procedure in 2012: once ratified, individuals under the jurisdiction of Morocco who claim to be victims of a violation of rights set forth in the Convention will be able to submit a communication to the Committee on the rights of the Child.
