A Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED) was set up to monitor the implementation of the Convention by the States parties.
The Committee receive and consider the reports that all States parties are obliged to submit regularly on the measures taken to grant the rights set forth in the Convention. The Committee examines each report and elaborated general recommendations.
